“I’m wearing red stockings, leopard print panties, pointy black boots with buttons on the side, a purple translucent shirt with a lace hem and mixed bangles. I like how the colors are bold but the textures are flowy and delicate. Everything else is thrifted except the stockings. My style is inspired by vintage fashion, found and inherited pieces, and my own mood that day. I’m pretty quiet so dressing up feels like a way to express myself loudly without having to use words. I usually start with one piece that speaks to me that day and build the outfit around it, like this time the red stockings.”
